I never pictured Magus as being the type of guy who actually wants to rule. Hes definitely more than capable of doing it, and is more than willing to do it when necessary to achieve his goals. But in the end, he has no desire to actually do it for his own personal glory. On the other hand, Im sure he sees the glory of the stature and would be more than willing to giving the position of ruler of the galaxy to his sister.
Also, I dont see the majority of the Space Pirates objecting to this turn of events either. After all, every time Ridley, Kraid and the Mother Brain die they all rush to bring them back to life. Obviously the Space Pirates have no real desire for personal superiority, just the superiority of their empire. Sure Ridley and Kraid might have a problem with it, but the Mother Brain seems to be more of a tactician than an actual iron-fisted ruler.
Good thought into this idea.
Did anyone see this coming?
hmm, a villain with real long term plans, (ones that could take a couple of decades to come to fruition) Don't see that every day...
I actualy did. But only saw it a few comics ago (like.. a week then?)
I'm not sur[rised at all. If there's one constant about Magus, it's that he wants the best for his sister. As for the space pirates and their generals, if anyone chooses to object, Magus will just obliterate them and delete their genetic profiles from the Space Pirate computer mainframe, so they can't be cloned again.
Personally, though, I don't think his plan will work. Not for the reasons anyone else might expect (outside interference, whatever), but because I doubt if Schalla will cooperate. I seriously doubt if Schalla can be made evil.
Then again, who's to say Schalla as Queen of the Space Pirates would be evil?
