When I originally decided to identify Lavos as a "terragaian parasite" it was really only to come up with an excuse for Samus to at least be aware of what it was capable of. However, I find that though the term parasite is apt, the term is a makes Lavos seem a little more mundane than it actually is. However, when Duo refers to the term elder god, he's not referring to anything Lovecraftian or from the Mortal Kombat series. Probably something somewhere in between I suppose.
My guess is that Duo gives Samus some new Power suit or something. Who's with me?
I'm guessing that Duo's body IS the new power suit.
Yes, thats it, Samus and Duo fuse, and this thing finally gets linked back to TES
the word "parasite" implies a small thing that ekes out an existence by leeching off a larger thing. But what would a parasite of PLANETS be like to us? If Lavos is like a farmer tilling the soil and growing food for himself, then us humans are like the flies that buzz around one of the apples that fell from a tree in his orchard.
Ever played a game called Sigma Star Saga? This is pretty much like that. They used a virus to defeat it after blowing a hole into it's bloodstream (I never actually did manage to complete that last fight)
wait.... did he say eldergod.....
(gone insane from seeing lavos)
How about Eldricht Abomination.
