The beauty of being an X-Parasite is that she has incredible recovery time.
This is part 15.
...Can't think of anything else to say.
is EVERYONE going to die?!
and I agree with supercomputer.
I sure hope some amazing plot-twist makes Crono, Marle and Lucca alive again.
Actually this is probably a bad decision by the X-queen here, cause if all the metroids are gone, then who's going to absorb/destroy the core of the Lavos-X? Cause it's been made clear that the queen won't remain in control if she tries to take Lavos's power so that makes survival an additional challenge.
In short, like it or not, the X-Queen pretty much needs Samus.
Yes but when your only hope is on the enemy's side you don't have much choice but to keep it as a free for all.
In the third panel, is the X-Queen simply bending the gun or compacting it?
oh yeah...magic...I forgot she could do that...
@CursedBluto: I believe she is "crunzking" it.
So in whatever sense it's completely useless as a gun now.
What does Samus have to do with a metroid?
Samus has Metroid DNA inside her. She to have it implanted in here due to her being infected with X-Parasites. After wards, She has the DNA of the Baby Metroid who sacrificed its life to save her, so it saved her twice.
I love Metroid Fusion.
The very same metroid? I thought it died, saveing Samus the first time from the Mother-brainzilla.
And what the bloody hell ever happened to the tranquilizer?!?
It wore off. X-parasites can drastically increase their metabolism when necessary in order for them to grow at accelerated speeds.
@ Sonow: It did but as is explained in the intro story to Super Metroid, it had been stolen from a research station.
In the process of doing research on the metroid, they likely sequenced it's DNA and kept samples. So the DNA infused into Samus was either originally from that metroid hatchling or synthesized in some way to have the same genetic code. Regardless if not for that specific metroid in two situations Samus would have died.
Also the metroids that appeared on the BSL station in Metroid Fusion were clones, as Samus had gone on a bit of a metroid killing spree in Metroid 2. Most likely clones of that same metroid as it was the last one in existence at the time, perhaps with minor variations, I don't know.
Hence the earlier joke about genocide.
I swear this series lately has more charcetrs dieing or close to dieing then any I've seen in a while.
