If you hadn't realized, Crono's got a pretty good reason to be pissed off right now. He doesn't have time to bee dying of bullet wounds.

"It was pretty smart of you to try a sneak attack, but you need to close the gap in power between us before you can ever hope to defeat me." I think Majinn-Buu said something to that effect once, and this super X parasite kinda reminds me of him right now.

Time for the "I remember you" scene?
Notice that Crono, using the power of New Game +, may become powerful enough to defeat Lavos by himself - in fact this is one of the ways to get the Developers ending - the other being defeating him on the battle where Lavos kills Crono.

Trying? I... dunno why it's not working...

What are the chances that Lavos would have continued along the line of: "now that I'm the perfect being, I will go off and find some primative backwater planet some where and nurture its inhibitants into a race of peaceful beings with a perpetual Golden age?"

Of course Crono's pretty much the man for the job of stopping Lavos. Not only did he do it in the future with help. He did it back in the final days of Zeal solo earlier, albeit killing himself in the process, but this time he's dying anyway so why not?

@Terminal Devastation,
About the same chance that Dr. Eggman would open up a peaceful restaurant with an egg theme.

Oh, wait...

It seems that Marl-X isn't the only member of the X species with a superiority complex. How did they ever manage to survive so long if they keep trying to blow themselves (and each other) up?

Marl-X? As in Marle?

Don't you mean Schala-X? Or X Queen as she's also been known to be called.
If not you have thoroughly confused me.

Admittedly that's not that difficult.

You KNOW you are royally screwed.... When a fatal sword stabbing is merely considered an insignificant nuisance to the one receiving it, and that someone happens to be THE VILLAIN. DX
