Originally I was just going to end this comic with Spekkio's statement that it was just a dream, but I figured most people would be thinking it, so I added Duo's line.
And in other news, I'm currently playing Metroid Prime 3. However, I imagine in doing so, I will find points and fact that contradict events or facts in this comic. At some point in time I may do a retcon in order to integrate the new facts into the game, but not until I've beaten it.
And on that same train of thought, I would appreciate it if people who have gotten farther than me would avoid spoilers, even if it's an attempt to point out errors in the comic. I'll probably be progressing at a slower speed, since my plates pretty full at the moment, but when I'm done, I'll let you folks know. However, I will try to show the same courtesy and not reveal too much about the game for those who are progressing slower than me. And with that said, I'm off to kill some Space Pirates! Peace out!
Just thought you'd like to know that you mis numbered it, it's part 14, not 13.
What there are SPACE PIRATES IN the current METROID GAME!!!!! OH NO THE WHOLE PLOT IS RUINED!!!!! [/end sarcasam]
GAH! YOU ALREADY GOT IT!? I haven't even been able to find a Wii in stores yet!
But I don't think Corruption would have much impact on the Samus of today, since the Prime series is supposed to take place before Metroid Fusion, and your comic takes place after. At most I think corruption would just introduce new technologies or races, or revelations on the nature of phazon that wouldn't really be that relevant to the happenings in the comic. Unless they all decide to sit around a bar and share old war stories, heh.
That might actually be a good way to make some fillers. Have the various main characters sitting in a bar, swapping stories about their past adventures.
The Prime series doesn't happen before Fusion, it happens during, Prime is a Gaiden, or altnernate storyline, they split off somewhere around Metoird 2 or Super Metroid I thinkg, there's a FAQ on GameFAQs all about it. If Ryan is going off the Fusion verse then Primes 1-3 have no bearing at all on his comic n.n
The metroid Fusion instruction manual has a timeline showing how all the games fit, its official from the makers of the games, and Metroid Prime is placed within continuity, we can always assume that Prime 2 and 3 and Hunters are just missions that took place before she exterminated the metroids.
