It cant be easy sharing your body with your ships computer. Even if he is an old friend.
I'd point out gender corallation, but that would probably lead to a crude joke.
Alright MW, I'll do it for you! Tecnically, Adam's got lady parts now!:D
Not that it matters, Adam is still a computer, 'he' technically doesn't have a gender.
But 'he' is still programed to be like Adam, and 'he' is still in Samas.
poor guy, he's gone from flesh and blood to binary to female. He's been disembodied more times I can think.
Adam was originally a person Samus knew. I don't know the exact details, having never played Metroid Fusion.
I did, Adam was the only person to ever call Samus "lady" without making it sound patronizing or sarcastic, Samus really liked him, and named her new ship's AI after him when he died. As the game neared the end, and Adam was ordered to lock her in a room of the station, she got into an argument with him, calling him a machine, and I think she let the name "Adam" slip out. After an awkward pause he released the door locks and let her progress to the final boss area, it turned out that her ships AI was actually a digital copy of Adam's mind (apparently they do that for important government employees) so it was a happy reunion for them.
