Crono still has no idea what’s going on. As far as he’s concerned, she’s suddenly developed multiple personalities.

Pultergisting? How did Adam do that?

Does Samus have some sort of chip in her brain?

Reply XSarustaX, March 16th, 2007, 8:50 pm

o.o Split Personality Disorder. Sounds fun. XP

Reply Angel85, March 16th, 2007, 10:02 pm

So Mother brain uploaded Adam's program directly into Samus' cerebral cortex? Is that because of the unique nature of Samus' mind and physiology or can it do that to anyone? Because that is really REALLY creepy, like ghost in the shell creepy.

The human conciousness is a bunch of electrical signals. Of COURSE Mother Brain can download the program into Samus' brain with the advanced technology of the Space Pirates.

Plus a very small part of the brain is even used. I wouldn't be surprised if Mother Brain put herself and Ridley in there too.

mother brain inside of a brain... that could be very ... SQUISHY... bad...
ya i am out of jokes...

Reply Tatsurou, March 17th, 2007, 12:32 pm

Also, I wouldn't be surprised if the space pirates had managed to reverse engineer the X's ability to organically process electronic data and utilized that here.

Then again, while Mother Brain is an organic brain, it is also a supercomputer that utilizes organic synapses because, at their peak operating efficiency, organic synapses will outperform computer circuits any day.

Actually thats a myth, we use most of our brain, though we might only use small portions at once. Not sure about that.

Reply Angel85, March 19th, 2007, 9:58 am

We use all of our brain, just not all of it is used consciously. I once heard of a man who multiplied 2 8-digit numbers in his head, it took him a while and they had a brain scan on him, they noticed that some regions of the brain usually activated for sight and hearing were flaring up the same as his math region (I don't remember the sciencey terms) That would constitute "using more than 10% of your brain"

Reply Dark-Chaos, March 22nd, 2007, 8:39 am

Well the "10%" is true... however one thing we must also be aware of... men can't multitask and women can't place full concentration on something. These three things are considered facts... but in reality they are mearly average. Based on figures stating that the most people are like that. Of course it's known some people can use alot of their brain at one time, men can multitask and women can place full concentration on something. These three are also based on one simple thing, how the brain works (men are meant to have a smaller 'link' between the right and left while women have a larger 'link'. This is what makes those two facts true, for the most part). No matter what the facts say, there are almost always exceptions.

10% is a myth, at any give time we mostly use several regions of our brain
