For those of you who didn’t know, the character designer for Chrono Trigger was Akira Toriyama the creator of Dragon Ball.

Anybody else reminded of the Junior/Albedo confrontation from Xenosaga Episode 1?

Will Duo get his ass kicked?

Will Samus get eaten by Ridley?

Will Nack crash into a wall with his stolen ship?

Find out in the next episode of Chrono Ball Z!

(that's my version)

and in the next episode none of the questions are answered because it's all dialog and powering up even more.
Also, Dragon Quest was also done by the same person for anyone who's interested.
